•    Berlin-based racing team fields two LMP3 prototypes in the Prototype Cup Europe
•    Mattis Pluschkell and Tobias Bille Clausen form driver duo, Markus Pommer and Mads Kjelde Larsen will drive the sister car

Prototype Cup Europe organiser Creventic is pleased to welcome BWT Mücke Motorsport to the 2026 season. The Berlin-based team will enter two LMP3 prototypes in the junior series, which succeeds the Prototype Cup Germany. BWT Mücke Motorsport has been involved in endurance racing for several decades and has a strong track record in training talented racing drivers.

The team has selected four ambitious drivers who have already begun their journey to becoming professional racing drivers with BWT Mücke Motorsport. Mattis Pluschkell and Tobias Bille Clausen will share driving duties in one of the two cars in the new BWT design, while Markus Pommer and Mads Kjelde Larsen will share the cockpit of the second car.

The 21-year-old Mattis Pluschkell is about to start his third season with BWT Mücke Motorsport, having already enjoyed success in endurance racing. In 2025, the German won the rookie classification and came second in the Prototype Cup Germany championship. His 17-year-old teammate, Tobias Bille Clausen, is in his second year of motorsport and will be driving a prototype for the first time after his debut season in the ADAC GT4 Germany championship. The Dane has been preparing extensively for his Prototype Cup Europe debut with the experienced BWT Mücke Motorsport team over the winter, undertaking simulator and track tests.

Markus Pommer, who began his career in Formula Racing in 2007, will be driving the sister car. The 35-year-old won the Prototype Cup Germany title in the 2023/24 season. Pommer's 20 years of motorsport experience will benefit his 17-year-old Danish teammate, Mads Kjelde Larsen, who completed an extensive training programme with BWT Mücke Motorsport in 2025.

Team Principal Stefan Mücke said: "We can look back on a successful period in the Prototype Cup Germany. That's why it was clear that we would also participate in its successor, the Prototype Cup Europe. This series provides our drivers with the perfect opportunity to prepare for more challenging endurance races. With the Prototype Cup Europe, we have significantly expanded our programme once again. We made the conscious decision to pair our prototype rookies, Tobias Bille Clausen and Mads Kjelde Larsen, with the experienced Mattis Pluschkell and Markus Pommer in the two cars. This allows us to provide them with the best possible training. By switching from GT4 cars, Tobias is following the same path as Mattis. Mads completed an extensive preparation programme with us and has developed well since then. I am convinced that we have assembled an excellent team of drivers."

BWT Mücke Motorsport will compete across all four rounds of the 2026 Prototype Cup Europe calendar. The season kicks off in Mugello, Italy (20th – 22nd March 2026), followed by the Nürburgring (3rd – 5th July 2026). The third round takes place at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza on 31st July 2026, before the season concludes at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium on 3rd – 4th September 2026.

Each race weekend comprises two free practice sessions, qualifying sessions and 55-minute races to give the drivers sufficient track time. Only third-generation LMP3 prototypes with V6 twin-turbo engines and an output of 470 hp will be used. BWT Mücke Motorsport relies on its long-standing partner, Duqueine, for its chassis selection.

BWT Mücke Motorsport has a successful history of promoting young talent and training future professional racing drivers. Le Mans winners and WEC world champions such as Robert Kubica, Sébastien Buemi, Yifei Ye and Michael Christensen honed their skills with the Berlin-based racing team. Young talents in particular benefit from the expertise of Team Principal Stefan Mücke, who himself gained many years of international endurance racing experience as a factory driver for Aston Martin Racing and Ford Chip Ganassi Racing.
