About the series
Prototype Cup Europe organiser Creventic is pleased to welcome Allay Racing to the 2026 season. The Swedish team, founded by brothers Emil and Linus Hellberg, brings a compelling story of passion and perseverance to the grid.
Both lifelong motorsport enthusiasts, Emil and Linus grew up with a dream of racing but lacked the means to pursue it professionally in their early years. After two decades of building a highly successful ski wear and outdoor clothing business, the brothers are now chasing their ultimate goal: competing in the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans. As bronze-categorised drivers, they know the road ahead requires patience and persistence, but both are fully committed to the challenge.
Allay Racing will proudly represent Sweden while being based in southern Spain. The team has invested in two brand new Gen 3 Ligier JS325 LMP3 cars, which Emil and Linus will race individually across all four rounds of the 2026 Prototype Cup Europe season. Alongside this, they have ordered a Ligier JS-P4 to gain essential track experience at venues frequented by the European Le Mans Series.
The team's philosophy centres on combining emerging talent with experienced professionals. Team Principal David Lowe brings extensive motorsport experience to the setup, having previously worked alongside FIA Formula 1 Race Director Charlie Whiting on race logistics and safety protocols in the early 2000s, and later managing trackside operations in the all-female W Series from 2019 to 2022.
For 2026, the Hellberg brothers are treating the season as a crucial learning period, with a clear goal of progressing to the Michelin Le Mans Series the following year. We're excited to follow their journey!
