The team from Luxembourg came out on top in the team classification of the Prototype Cup Germany. Racing Experience entered two Duqueine D08s and took four race wins in twelve races.

Great success for Racing Experience: The traditional racing team from Wormeldange in Luxembourg secured the 2023 team title in the Prototype Cup Germany. Racing Experience also led the duo Gary Hauser (31/LUX) and Markus Pommer (32/Untereisesheim) to the drivers' title in the LMP3 racing series organised by the ADAC and Creventic. "We are obviously delighted with these successes, which we attach great importance to in our team history," explains Team Principal Christian Hauser. "The team title is almost a little nicer, as it actually seemed impossible to win before the season. In contrast to our main rivals, we only had one car that was capable of finishing in the front positions in the races. Our second Duqueine was, of course, the bronze car - and therefore not on a par in terms of speed."

The season got off to a good start for Racing Experience. Gary Hauser/Markus Pommer were able to really show off at the Hockenheimring with a second place and a race win. Two more podiums followed at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. After the event in Zandvoort, the team won the Saturday race at the Norisring, Assen and the finale at the Nürburgring. This paved the way for the team title. The Luxembourg team's second Duqueine, which was initially driven by Kevin Rohrscheidt (31/Stuttgart) and Wolfgang Payr (59/AUT) before David Hauser (33/LUX) took over the cockpit from Rohrscheidt from Assen onwards, also played a major part in the success. "There were some really exciting and close races. But the highlight of this season for me was clearly the fact that neither car had a single technical failure. This confirms the quality of the preparation of our vehicles and the quality of our employees," says Team Principal Hauser proudly.

Christian Hauser used to be a racing driver himself and achieved great successes in the 24-hour race at Spa-Francorchamps and in hill climb racing, for example. He then founded Racing Experience in 2000. "The name is easy to explain. We had gained so much experience in motorsport over the years that we found the name Racing Experience appropriate," Hauser reveals. In the years that followed, the racing team was initially mainly involved in formula racing. In the German Formula 3 Cup, up to four vehicles were fielded at times.

The team then entered LMP3 racing in 2017. With success: the title in the Dutch GT & Prototype Challenge was clinched in the very first year. In 2019, Racing Experience competed in the Le Mans Cup, then in the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) in 2021 before switching to the Prototype Cup Germany for the 2022 season. "What we particularly like about the Prototype Cup Germany is the format with two sprint races per weekend," says Hauser. "It's also great to have different options for driver combinations - for example, not necessarily having to rely on bronze drivers."

Racing Experience is a real family racing team. When it comes to logistics and team relations, Christian Hauser relies on the experienced hands of his wife Karin. As the good soul of the team, she pulls the strings in the background. His sons Gary and David Hauser are in the cockpit as drivers. Gary's wife Lea Mauer acts as team manager. "The family team spirit characterises us," says the team boss. "Nobody tries to make a name for themselves and everyone pulls together. When everything goes well, it's easy - and when things get difficult, it pays off all the more. We treat each other very respectfully, win and lose together."

Racing Experience can well imagine defending the Prototype Cup Germany title in the coming season. "We've had a lot of interest from drivers and partners and would be delighted to take part in the Prototype Cup Germany again," explains Christian Hauser. "It is our incentive to continue at the same level as before."
