The 28-year-old Czech is completing the Formula E test in Valencia as a rookie in the Porsche 99X Electric. Quick Gabi" has been on the podium twice this year in the Prototype Cup Germany.
From the Prototype Cup Germany straight into Formula E: that's the case for Gabriela Jílková (28/CZE). "Quick Gabi" will test the works Porsche at the official test of the FIA Formula E World Championship from 24 to 27 October at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia and thus be able to gain her first experience in the innovative electric racing series. "Having already supported us in the simulator, we are now giving her the chance to show what she can do on the race track as well," says Florian Modlinger (Overall Project Manager Formula E at Porsche), who is delighted about the test entry.
Gabriela Jílková completed her first season in LMP3 racing in 2023 and drove a Duqueine D08 from Van Ommen Racing by DataLab in the Prototype Cup Germany. At the season opener in Hockenheim, she and team-mate Lucas Mauron (25/CHE) narrowly missed the podium with fourth place in Sunday's race. From the second race of the season at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, she shared the Duqueine cockpit with the Spaniard Xavier Lloveras (23).
The season highlight was the race weekend at Circuit Zandvoort in the Netherlands. With third place in Saturday's race and a win in Sunday's heat, Jílková/Lloveras were able to finish on the podium twice.
But the Czech had already shone in ADAC motorsport before that. In 2021 and 2022, she competed in the ADAC GT4 Germany and attracted attention there with spectacular overtaking manoeuvres.With third place in the Sunday race at Oschersleben and second place at Zandvoort, she was also able to cheer from the podium twice in the ADAC GT4 series in 2021.
