Season Overview

The Prototype Cup Germany is an official Championship approved by the ACO, and the only series to run LMP3 GEN 3 in Europe besides ACO official series.

 

2026 Season Facts:

  • International series with Grade 1 circuits.
    • all current or former F1 circuits.
  • LMP3 Only series
    • Ligier JS P325
    • Duqueine D09
    • Ginetta G61-LT-P3 Evo LMP3
    • ADESS AD25
  • Weekend format with alot of track time;
    • Wednesday / Thursday testing available at every event
      • Mugello: total of 16 hours available
      • Nürburgring: total of 16 hours available
      • Monza: TBC hours available
      • Spa: total of 8 hours available
    • Minimum of two sessions of 45 min Free Practice
    • Two Qualifying Sessions of 15 min 
    • Two Races of 55min
  • 1 or 2 drivers per entry
    • All drivers with bronze-gold grade allowed, balanced trough minimal pitstop

Special Winners Prize

The 2026 Prototype Cup Europe Champion will – courtesy of Michelin – receive the huge prize of a reserved spot on the 2027 Michelin Le Mans Cup grid. This includes the iconic Road to Le Mans support race for the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans.
